Elite 2022 PG Jayden Epps Commits to Illinois

Epps picked Illinois over N.C. State, Connecticut and Kansas.

“It was the relationship that I have with the coaching staff and the system that they run,” Epps said. “They really prioritized me and showed me that they wanted me there. I really trust in what they’re doing there and I feel like that’s the place where I’d be the most successful.”

Going to catch some Epps hs games, he plays in my district.

Regarding Bass he has done well against top hs aau teams. Sure he is better than his ranking.
The general thinking that he's going to decommit is because he was an OA guy?

The world of college basketball has changed. Brilliant statement. Today's commit is tomorrow's de-commit or transfer down the road.

But I congratulate Mr. Chester Frazier. (I called him Chet "The Jet" when In I saw him play at Assembly Hall).

I also praise old man Mr. Kendall Gill for is right-on comments.

Bring Illini back to Illinois to recruit and coach. Loyalty, baby.

Is Brian Randle still in the mix for a coaching job?

I would think out recent success is an easier sell for players Chester has been recruiting over the past few jobs he's had. As long as BU continues delivering Ws with the recruits we're getting, their job gets easier! With the exception of the NIL!
