Elite 2022 PG Jayden Epps Commits to Illinois​

Epps picked Illinois over N.C. State, Connecticut and Kansas.​

“It was the relationship that I have with the coaching staff and the system that they run,” Epps said. “They really prioritized me and showed me that they wanted me there. I really trust in what they’re doing there and I feel like that’s the place where I’d be the most successful.”

Kudos to all the folks boasting of Chester's recruiting ability. I'd have dismissed him as a candidate after the season. But after the good reviews I was hopeful. You people were right.

I would think out recent success is an easier sell for players Chester has been recruiting over the past few jobs he's had. As long as BU continues delivering Ws with the recruits we're getting, their job gets easier! With the exception of the NIL!
