What a week we had! I’d expect it to be a bit quieter this week. Will we see anymore commits before fall?

From free Bossi article last week (Link):

"For the Hoops, 247Sports top 150 ranked Cameron Corhen played the best I have ever seen him. The skilled 6-foot-9 big man was active at the rim and showed touch during a very productive 21 point and nine rebound outing. Games like that will move him well up the rankings. He’s got four-star talent and showed it today. He’s taken a visit to Illinois and Brad Underwood was on hand."

I imagine the current state of our program and the amount of attention he's getting from our staff must make you feel pretty damn good as a current top 150 recruit.

From what I've heard, Corhen could commit soon. Hope so.

Whitmore and Corhen have the look of potential future NBA players with size, athleticism, and inside-outside game. Whitmore sure is bouncy. Corhen not the biggest hops yet, but workouts may improve that.

I'd be very happy with AJ Casey and Cameron Corhen signing with the beloved. Corhen because true bigs are scarce. Casey because of the Chicago sentiment.

Speaking of Schutt. I think he got a Duke offer? If so....
He did, I read somewhere that the person who wrote it said he felt his recruitment was still in the feeling out stage and he felt that Schutt would end up at school that was yet to offer him. Illinois had, but Duke had yet to do so, a few days later Duke offered so read into that what you will. Good thing is we currently have shooters on the roster would love to get him but if not it would not be devastating, as long as we continue to recruit at our current level.

It appears we are much more likely to end up with 6’9” guys that can stretch the floor than Kofi types. Playing with 2 fours and no five is not uncommon and would seem to fit with the BU style. Seems to work in most conferences but the BIG has seemed to attract very large post guys. OSU did fine last year without it.
