What's up? This is the 2nd reference to Bass getting off the hook recently. Asking for a friend.
Nothing official, just observing how many guard offers we have out for ‘22. Granted, we will need to add 2-3 (especially if Belo goes pro)
Believe he needs to prove to the staff that he is up for the competition. He and Harris are incredibly similar in style of play, we’ll see if there is any movement over the next month or so. He did react well to Harris’ commitment on Twitter
If any of the commits bolt at this point, it’s likely due to the fact that they don’t believe they’ll see the floor enough due to the level of talent and skill they’ll be competing with to get time.
That means we are loaded 10 - 13 deep.
I will take that concern or problem all day every day.
100%. We are in good with multiple guards that are at a higher level than he is. And I think the staff would be okay with a Harris for Bass swap if it comes to that

Was away at a variety of 4th festivities this weekend so just getting caught up. In last weeks recruiting thread, information was alluded to as possible "big" news coming 'next' week. Just wondering if 0440 or Lville means we shouldn't hear anything substantial until week of the 12th. Sounds like Kofi and or Garcia are a real possibility next year?! Hope everyone had a great 4th!
The pace at which we on here flip from this to we don’t have enough talent and are going to suck is astounding

Bass has outplayed his ranking, in a major way, this spring/summer on the AAU circuit. I'm not seeing any signs of him being leery about the competition.

Bass has looked really good in all the film I have seen of him. He also has a really good attitude and there hasn’t been any indication of him changing his mind about the O&B. I, for one, really look forward to his arrival.

Garcia + Kofi would be a dream scenario, and all the setbacks and frustrations of the last 3 months would disappear in an instant.
Totally agree that it would vanish instantly. Funny thing is that even if we go on to have an amazing season, we will all be right back to doom and gloom and hand wringing by next April. Sad but true, also once the players get back to practice there's always hope eternal regardless. It's in life-long fans DNA. We're in for highs and lows...ILL-Totally agree that it would vanish instantly.
