I like local kids but if Pence is at UI something is wrong, he is a very very nice player but he is nowhere close to the level of Frazier, Curbelo, Ayo, Plummer, Podz....guys we have in our system now. I think he is very much an EIU type of guy though and think he will do well at that type of level, just my opinion.

I actually think Podz is a decent comp for Pence. Both play(ed) against questionable competition in high school, and both have versatile offensive games. I think Pence is already a better athlete-I think that might be a bit of a limitation for Podz. Keep in mind Pence just finished his sophomore year. He is a definite high major player IMO.

Yea, I would be all in on Shawn Phillips. Low post threat, already has solid footwoork at his age, great athlete for his size. I'd go all in.

When is this upcoming visit?
This kid is a load. Feliz with size. And a left hand, though that never seemed to hinder Feliz with his ability to create space for himself (sorry if I'm conveniently forgetting Feliz' left hand at the rim to fit my narrative).
