Cameron Kruftwig, C Loyola, Il. One of the most efficient centers in the country. Would be a great 1 year replacement for Kofi. Rumblings he is a grad transfer would like to finish up close to home. Algonquin, Ill.
Start his career playing in Final Four for Ramblers, end it in Final Four for Illini? That would work. He’s got some amazing career numbers. Especially his assists for a center. Everyone mad at Kofi for not kicking it out to the open teammates wouldn’t have that issue w Krutwig.

These kids are something else. What about Kentucky would be appealing right now? Especially over a ready made situation like we would have.

I like this insight. We are yet to see whether this occurs, but since missing out on OT, we'll take any hope of a big man.

What exactly do people think THT did that would have cost us Ayo? Has it ever been confirmed that they refused to play together? I've heard tons of rumors but nothing definitive.
Ayo was gone if THT was here...that is why the handling and timing was strange. BU and staff I believe thought they could work things out...they were wrong...a misstep by BU trying to do the right thing...worked out pretty well in long term.

I'm stj.mad a out Laphonso Ellis lolol it will be awhile
I watched the championship IHSA game between Marcus (King) and LaPhonso (ESL?) with Lou, Lou Jr., Loren Tate and prolly rest of UI staff. Biggest miss along with Juwan Howard and Glenn Robinson IMO. IDKWTI missed out on being a Uof I legacy star and is now a Who'syourdaddy afterthought. as an aside, bourbon/ginger highball's are swell lol . I...L...L...

We were nothing more than the stoolie in the OT recruitment. There to gain info to enhance Huggy's tampering complaint with the NCAA.
That would be a very noble cause if NCAA had any testicles...ie NC school of no shows. KS with current NC coach...yes we gave grads 5k...is that wrong...

The same things that are always attractive about Kentucky. Although this year's team has not won a lot, (3-0 in SEC notwithstanding) it will bear little resemblance to the team they will field next year when O.T. will be eligible to play.
The banners, the facilities, the fanbase, the atmosphere, the national exposure, the duffel bags full of cash, the coaching staff, the training staff, etc... will all be top notch.

Attended Lou's summer camp with both LaPhonso and Juwan. Fun times during breaks and at night in Bromley with basketball all day in Huff and the Armory.

Yup. Never underestimate the value of a high quality duffel bag.

Interesting that he didn't mention Michigan. Given their success this year and his connections to Howard, I would have pegged them as a real contender for his services. Interesting that Mizzou is on him now. They didn't even recruit him prior.
They will end up with him. Just don't really have to reach out, like others do

It's been crickets here lately. One thing I will say about BU, he usually has a plan A,B,C in place, doesn't let much info out and surprises me most of the time.
