Wait, did I miss something? Burnett to Oregon, is that what you are saying? I have looked everywhere and don't see it.
Amauri Hardy is Jaden's older brother. He orally committed to OSU when Brad was there. When Brad left and did not offer him at Illinois, he signed with UNLV (later grad transferred to Oregon). In other words, the Hardy family knows Brad well. Still . . . to me it seems like Team Ignite, Kentucky or a PAC-12 school are far more likely landing spots for Jaden.

Just thought I would throw this out there. Hardy's family are all HUGE Brad fans...

Oregon offered more PT for Amauri and if we were not loaded at the G spot, there is a very strong chance he would have come here.
I'm just piggybacking off of you and sorry for rant. Appreciate all you contribute here.

Just looked at Amauri's minutes and it seems like he is struggling, but only getting 22 minutes a game. I would say that definitely would not be in favor for Amauri.

Separately, I would start to think Brad while known as tough on players, also seems to have that balance of soft side. He seems to genuinely like his players and that has seemed to progress significantly in the last few years. Obviously, I have know idea what Brad is like personally, but it does seem like Josh Whitman has done a good job of blending who Brad is while it seems like Brad has opened up more. Brad could have always been like that. Tag that along with how he has provided minutes to Miller, Curbelo, and at times, Hawkins. Then I see a team like Michigan in that outside of Dickerson, you don't see top 100 recruits in Zeb Jackson or Terrence Williams playing, or Michigan State two top 80 players (Mady - ugh) or (Hoggard) playing too much even though Hoggard was rated higher than Curbelo and near Miller.

I'm not saying ratings are everything, but I am saying from the perspective of Coach Underwood, he has a lot to sell recruits. He plays the players that he recruits and especially the ones he is high on, he develops, he is gaining a winning culture, cares, backs up what he is selling. I don't know, but hope Brad is here for long run and hope recruits realize you have a great coach that will develop over taking the safe routes in Michigan or being overrecruited like at Oregon, KY, if you are not first priority.

Gotcha, didn't know that. Thought Amauri was an autocorrect for Nimari.

Hard pass. Curbelo needs room to grow and as far as I can tell Hardy would stunt that.
This seems a little short-sighted and small-minded. Hardy's potential contributions to this team would surely dwarf his downside. Curbelo needs to be stretched to really reach his ceiling as a player.

We're making height jokes about Curbelo, right? Just making sure.

I don't mean to be preemptive but if this happened we would have the #12 recruiting class (not including transfers).
Now the question becomes real.

I'd take TyTy over Burnett. Kinda doubtful we'd be able to land both. But I wouldn't take TyTy over Burnett and Bona.

A backcourt with Miller, curbelo, tyty, Burnett would be unreal.

Pods is the 1st I think to commit from the above listed. He said first couple weeks of March.

We may need to get in on Abiodun Adegoke, 7' 9" teenager!

Podziemski is averaging 35.0, 10.1 rebounds, 5.6 assists, and 4.1 steals and hitting 43.3 percent from 3-point range. He’s three wins away from a Wisconsin state championship a
Narrowed his list of college choices to Kentucky, Illinois, Miami, Vanderbilt and Wake Fores

Any though on how Podziemski is leaning? Kentucky has commit from MDAA guard Nolan Hickman

The highlights I’ve seen of Ty Ty have been extremely impressive. Would love to see him as an Illini!
Surprised to see he’s up to ranking around 30 in the country. When we first were in on him he was around 100. Have to like that trend

I have no clue...been pretty quiet on here about him lately. Pretty much everyone knows more than I do about recruiter insiding

His team appears to be 26-1 playing one of the toughest schedules in high school basketball.

He's getting 20.9 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 5.8 apg to 1.0 topg, and 2.5 spg while shooting 45.7% from the field, 83.6% FTs, and 37.9% from 3.

Against that level of competition, those numbers are very impressive.

21 6 & 6! Those numbers are familiar 🤔. I like it!
