Totally agree! Total overhaul of roster from this year to next. Quality depth will be an issue until we add a few seasoned transfers into the mix. Not real worried about that since there are about 5,000,000 players in the portal now :ROFLMAO:

Ding ding ding. Don’t think I saw him play, but based on recruiting ranking and minutes he saw at KY, I’d say he has some skills. Also shot 80% from line, so one would think he can improve his other shooting numbers. Not sure what the draw would be for him to come to Illinois, but looks like he wouldn’t be a bad option for the Illini.

I think the ideal is getting a CG that can play the point in a pinch, as needed, but is really a ball handling scorer. Like a Trent, for instance. A guy that can play off Belo and space the floor when he's in, and then run the show when he's not. Askew's poor shooting would clog things up too much with both guys in, and I doubt he'd be fine going from starter at UK to Belo's backup at UI.

Maryland's Darryl Morsell is both declaring for the NBA Draft and entering the transfer portal. He'd be an extremely good replacement for Miller, but I'm guessing everyone will be after him.

Woodson is doing a solid job of getting re-commitments from the Indiana players in the portal. At least raises their floor for next year.
