I love the difference in Trent and Damonte. Trent is so good with social media and loves the interacting. Damonte, no one has a clue. Hell he might not even be checking social media. Lol

I don't get the occasional posts about Kofi losing weight. He would have lose muscle mass for that to happen because he's not carrying around enough fat to make that happen. I don't know how helpful that would be for him.

The interest in Mitchell is there, but that won’t happen. Ntambwe is definitely in play once the current roster sees some turnover.
I wouldn't be surprised with a couple more guys leaving, but why wait at this point? Other teams are taking players off the portal as we speak, so strategically doesn't it make more sense to go into the portal earlier, so as not to lose out on spots that are being taken?

I'm 72 years old. I never even HEARD the word BLUE BLOOD until a couple months ago. Blue blood/black blood or red blood...if they make the top 25 most years...considering there are 100's of college teams...they are a heck of a lot better than Illinois. Even Ky./MSU or NC don't make the top 25 every year and they are considered your so called blue blood.. To me...Florida/BYU are blue bloods. IF Loyola can make the tourney 2 years in a row...Florida-BYU are blue bloods. I have NO creditability...thats why I post articles from OTHER PEOPLE. Illini are second to me...music first.

I don't see Hamlin getting any minutes in the next class. If anyone leaves, it's probably gonna be him. BBV will get some minutes probably maybe like a 4 !? So, I can see one more spot opening up on the roster.

Regarding Ty ty we fell back from him.. (Academic) and attitude issues..
Damonte is seriously considering comig back now that trent is back, and I'm being told the miller decision may hinge on montes decision.
I.e. monte comes back then the odds of miller coming back are much much better than if he doesnt.
It is believed kofi will declare on the next few days but he will RETAIN his eligibility...
G.B. is probably going overseas...
Also we will probably see a few more names going into the transfer portal over the next week.
Hang on tight gentlemen and ladies these next few weeks will be INTERESTING to say the least.

Yes...and very rare (for a guy/97.2 % were girls)...I saw the Beatles live. (66)...I saw Jimmy Page BEFORE Led Zep! Music will always be #1 for me. Living in Tinley Park helps! Seldom will I write out a long/short post. I post articles from other people. Gives you guys/girls more time to watch Shark Tank/Flip or Flop/Storage Wars and My 600 lb. Life.

So we stopped recruiting tyty because we didn’t like his attitude? Just trying to clarify… also, do you guys want players like Hamlin or bbv to transfer so that we can make room for possible players like Mitchell?
Once some of the schools that made the top 6 jumped in, we were better off to move on and not miss out on other options...Hamlin and BBV need to decide if they want to be a part of a good team or if they want to play. May not even be their decision? I agree that at least one will leave

Let me clarify, we backed off rexruiting him heavily because he did not have what it takes academically to be on scholarship at Illinois, and two his attitude is me first me me me me.. He is not what we need on this team. Our team thrives on being EVERYDAY Guys ty ty is not... At best he wouldve played one year and transferred had he met academic standards..
To answer your other question..
I dont personally hope anyone transfers ever unless its to Illinois, I like the hometown everyday hardworking kids however what is in best interest of the kid and the school is fine by me.
Just 4 years ago I would have agreed with you however, we have a great staff here and our staff can recruit with the best of them.. You cant just throw in the towel every time the bluebloods come knocking you have to fight otherwise you dont land the ayo dosunmus of the world, or the kofis or even trent for that matter... Eventually it pays off... I can assure you ty ty was a priority until he basically said he wasnt interested in doing what it takes academically to enroll and he definitely was not going somewhere he had to compete for a starting job.
