dammit, down the rabbit hole again...

So, say we're extremely fortunate to land both, how do we convince Mayers that he's not starting, maxes out at 20-25 mpg and keep everyone reasonably happy? I guess winning a ton is the tonic.

Oh yeah, one more thing: anyone thinking Dainja isn't gonna see major minutes, think again.
Well he would start. It’s the sole reason he is leaving Baylor….didn't get enough tick

Fairly easy to read between the lines with Mayer recruitment and the Illini player tweets. Three guys assured of starting no matter who came in tweeted their love ... Skyy, RJ, and TSJ.

Some talk of needing experience at the guard position to ease the transition of our young guards coming into their first season......I know Grandison may not be a point guard....but he did play the 2 and 3 quite a bit......any thoughts of if he comes back, that he would fill that experience role??? I really believe that may be our best option of gaining experience at the guard position.....he has experience and knows the system
I personally would like one more year of Jake but the insiders seem to think it won’t happen.

I don't think that would make us a better team, and I, (personally), do not want him taking minutes away from the newbies. His defense is very weak.

Yeah....except they want a ball handler....Jake can't dribble soooo that wouldn't help

Not sure where this is coming from. His defense is very solid. And that's while playing out of position as a 4 for most of his time here.
