Torvik thinks we're a bottom of the barrel team in the Big Ten right now (14th).

I'm not sure what the last 4 seasons have to do with this one. We have essentially an entirely new roster, one that will need multiple players to make massive jumps in order for us to finish near the top of the conference.

I'm not so sure about "massive" jumps. That might apply to Booth. But guys like Boswell, Humicrous, Ivisic, White and Davis won't. Neither will Demin if we land him. Coward won't either.

I think it is clear going forward spend your bag on your alpha first then fill around. Maybe Boswell is that ”alpha”, but for sure the longer you wait the higher the price is for the piece you want. That podcast presented above is pretty spot on in my mind?

This is probably true, but if the price goes up appreciably, that player can just change his mind and take the bigger bag. First means nothing.
