I know I'm not the conductor but I've been riding first class on the Hutch hype train and after watching what he did tonight I gotta say you better get your tickets quick before it's too late.

Love the optimism, but I remember “someone” scoring 28 points in the opener last year. Just saying…. Let’s see how he does against actual competition. If Hutch is the real deal this year…. Look out.

Its more about the way he moves and the bball IQ he shows on the offensive end. He was out of position a couple times on defense but he just oozes skill and easy athleticism on O.

They have a team filled with guys recruited specifically to play college ball and quite few have been in their system practicing as a team for several years. In addition, they have a paid professional college BB coach. They will likely put up several dozen points on us.

This is the hard-hitting analysis I come here for. You can tell he really did the research!

The team might benefit more from a game like scrimmage, with referees and evenly divided teams. Or a closed scrimmage with Loyola or another DI team. Beating up a team like St Francis (which would get beat by good high school teams ) or the the stiffs from Indiana PA is a complete waste of time.

But it’s a game with paid admissions. We can not forget that the DIA just went through a season with NO fans=not much money coming in while massively upgrading basketball facilities.

There are a lot of benefits, playing in front of fans being one of those. You can't simulate that type of environment in a closed scrimmage.
