I think that would be the default, but judging by how teams will randomly wear a dark colored jersey at home and have the away team adjust accordingly (we literally wore WHITE jerseys on the road at Rutgers and Iowa this year and navy at home vs. Southern ... hated it every time, keep it traditional!). So, I think Iowa State effectively gets to pick whatever they want, and then we get to pick whatever we want as long as it does not clash with their choice. So, if they wear gold, we can wear any of our jerseys. If they wear red, we can wear white or navy. If they wear white, we can wear orange or navy.

Just watched the Wake game on YouTube. Up 21 at half with Deron sitting almost the whole half with 2 fouls, Chief dance at halftime, announcers saying we had the Big Ten preseason player of the year 5 years in a row. What great times.
I was there to see that Final Four in St. Louis. We all know that team was an anomaly, absolutely electric the entire season. The Elite Eight game vs Arizona was the most incredible comeback I’ve ever witnessed. Dee Brown literally refused to lose and willed that team to victory. I feel TSJ has that same ability when locked down as he has been this post season. Can’t wait to see him soar and lift this team into the Elite Eight again!

This team is 1989 and 2005 personified and has a great chance to accomplish what even those two beloved ILLINI teams didn't accomplish.
