It takes quite a bit of time to develop real chemistry on offense in the half court. Add to that 3 freshmen guards....and you can kind of understand the frustrating first half/start of 2nd half vs. Texas. You can really see the uncertainty at times.
If/when these guys start to gel and understand each other on offense this team is going to be really, really good.

I think it’s important for these guys to beat PSU in a way that reinforces the belief that we are continuing to gel and starting to click. I’d love a true beatdown. 
I chuckled when I saw the Big Ten standings and Orange tied for last, especially with wins over Bruin and Longhorn. LOL. Methinks after this game, Orange will not be in last. Just keep the pedal to the metal.

I hate morning games.
One of the good things about having a team so young that plays so hard defensively is that I worry less about whether we'll show up ready for play in an early morning game on a Saturday, especially after a huge win on the road. That said, hopefully we start out stepping on the gas and wear them down. PSU is a tough team that works hard, so if we let them stay in the game we'll be asking for some trouble. And PSU is certainly going to upset a few B10 teams this year. So let's come in hungry, go up early, and never let them sniff that they're in the game. Gotta have this one, so let's go get it.

We have to be better with the spacing defensively and over helping. We are over healing in the strong side and can’t recover on kick out 3s. Also getting to far in the paint on the weak side trying to help when we front the post and it makes for an easy skip pass three.
Penn St. is sneakily better than expected, Micah Shrewsberry has them pointing in the right direction. This isn't one where you want to get caught sleeping with an early Saturday tip. Need to come out ready to play. They are first in the country in terms of made threes per game and have been making them at a high clip. They will bury you with threes and are capabale of putting up a bunch of points in a hurry if you aren't dialed in defensively.
I disagree that its a trap game but liked your post anyways because Admiral Ackbar is awesome and I hope Disney gives him his own origin/prequel/stand alone Disney+ series lol (heck why not, it seems like they're doing spin off series for every Star Wars character in the galaxy these days)
Okay sorry about the off topic rant, I look for our guys to continue to gel & adjust and of course seeing Seneire getting more playing time. That dude is an enigma.
