Hope we didn't empty our tank in this one only to lose by 20+ against the juggernaut that is UConn. If we make them earn their victory for the full 40 minutes, I'll be disappointed but satisfied.....or maybe we'll find a way to beat them and go on to win the whole d*mn thing.
On a different note, this is only the 4th time Illinois and Connecticut have played. Illinois won the first matchup 49-23 all the way back in the 1938-39 season, and UConn winning the next two matchups in 1992 and 1994.
