Remember: UNLV was considered unbeatable in the 1991 national semifinal game. Had won 45 consecutive games and Duke were 8-point 'dogs to them. No one gave Duke a chance. Absolutely no one. I still remember watching them beat Stacey Augmon, Greg Anthony and Larry Johnson and Anderson Hunt. Stone cold beat them.

It's late, I'm wearing lucky week old orange boxers that could probably do math problems, I threw my Apple Watch from the living room into the kitchen after it thought I fell for the fourth time during the game, I just watched half naked Brad Underwood-Slippery When Wet, and my ears are ringing.
I need a minute.
Yeah man. They're due for an off-kilter, poor-shooting game. If we give a 4.5-star or 5-star performance on D, on the glass, from 3, and from the line,,, and they have an off night,,, man, that doesn't seem completely unreasonable.Kinda feels like UCONN is due for a loss in the tourney.
I think it will feel like a noose has been cut off after playing Iowa State and the offense goes back to normal. We score 85 and win Saturday!

UCONN has 3 losses
Kansas - 4th in big 12 - lost 2nd round NCAA
Seton Hall - 4th in big east - NIT
Creighton - 2nd big east - still playing sweet 16
We are better than Kansas and Seton Hall
We are at least equal to Creighton
UCONN is beatable. We are big, good rebounders, 2 headed monster TSJ and Marcus on offense, good depth, playing good defense in BTT and NCAAs. If anybody left in tournament can beat UCONN it is the Illini.
It will take our A game but you have seen it in BTT and last 3 NCAA wins. We are bringing it.
Clingan 13 ppg and 7 rbg. He is no Zack Edey. I would rather play UCONN than Purdue again.

Houston is a lot like Iowa State they just don’t have the horses.
Creighton has beat them but I don’t see it happening again. They would be playing them in the title game and the incentive for UConn at that point will be at an all time high.

Well. The Illini can definitely switch everything 1-4 and have plenty of guys capable of getting Clingan in foul trouble.
Going to need to play at their and best and shoot well but there's a chance.
No more smoke and mirrors in this game! If we play our best and they play their best we lose by 5. Just lay it all out boys and see what happens!
