I've re-opened the Illinois Loyalty bracket that I ran last year. If you joined last year, it should still be there when you log into CBSSports.

This years rules:
- At most 2 entries per person.
- Scoring is 2,3,4,5,6,7 per round.

Last year I tried Fibonacci scoring (2,3,5,8,13,21) to see how the results differed from "standard" 1/2/4/8/16/32 scoring. The answer was not much. The later round picks still swamped everything else. This year I'd like to see the results using a flatter scoring system (2,3,4,5,6,7). Later round picks still matter more. A single good later pick shouldn't dominate the results.

I have no idea how to do this. It keeps on saying open in app when I click the link. Then in the app there’s no way to join.

Make sure your CBS Sports app is updated. If you were in the pool last year you should be already in this year. ( i think).
I didnt use the link above, just went to the app and found last years group already there
Scroll down from the top and click Bracket Games

I'm in. Entered other Illinois Loyalty brackets I found as well. Couldn't see anywhere to change my name to my username. Was able to use my Loyalty username in the CBS overall bracket challenge.

Reminder: Fill out your bracket by the end of today.

bleedsorangeblue, if you DM me (here) the change you want, I may be able to fix your entry in the bracket I'm running. I've not played with the bracket manager options yet.

Too bad that the Greatest Dilemma thread is closed.

Congratulations to Vic who wins one beach house good for any wager on this board*.
145 Vic Fabris (53-10);
139 Sun Man (50-13)
137 Charles Sp. (50-13)

Looking at the flat scoring variation: The top 9 finishers all picked MI. Vic would not have been in the top 3 using the more common 1/2/4/8/16/32 scoring. Their three extra correct picks would have been swamped by their only having 2 of the final four correct; the others got 3 each. I did not see any bracket with the entire final four correct. (I also did not look particularly carefully.)

* The beach house must be claimed in the continental US, while standing on ocean front property. This offer is not valid in all states, including the states of CA, CT, DE, FL, GA, LA, MA, ME, MD, MS, NH, NJ, NY, NC, OR, RI, SC, TX, VA, WA, and the District of Washington DC.
