[QUOTE="rvwinkle, post: 1228386, member: 234830"] No arm or legs, for that matter, on their own will win games. Whether it's a dual threat QB or a pro-style QB, if they can't read a defense, it doesn't matter what they can do with their arm or their legs. JG Jr obviously had a good receiving core in high school so having to be dual threat was not necessary. I've watched his highlights and some game film and when he had to, he scrambled and ran well. TJ Gaynor gave this assessment: He makes good reads and understands coverage concepts. When the play breaks down, George flashed a knack for avoiding pressure in the pocket while keeping his eyes downfield. He doesn't project as a threat in the zone read game or on designed runs, but has an excellent feel for the rush and an ability to keep plays alive. There must be a quick release gene in the George family because Jeff can flick the ball downfield in a hurry just like his father. When the situation called for it, he also displayed the advanced ability to throw receivers open -- something you rarely see, even at the college level.
