That was a really fun match and interesting to see to really tall guys blast away at each other.
Also, great that they mentioned the Fighting Illini a few times and talked about how much Anderson benefited from playing some collegiate Tennis (and meeting his wife who was an Illini golfer).
He actually has a great chance to go through to the final which would be really spectacular.

Good pub for Illinois last night in KA's win. Great match to watch. I stayed up too late and am now paying for it, LOL!!!

And there you have it Ilini Nation!! We have one of our own O&B in the US Open Tennis final!!! Nice interview afterwards where he mentioned that he met his wife in college. He didn't say which college, but I think we know which one. Man, he looked like a man possessed in this match. Good luck to him on Sunday.

New to this forum...so I'm just catching up. I was at the Sam Querrey v. Kevin Anderson match and was one of the people chanting I-L-L I-N-I. So many people left after the Venus Williams match, and we were able to move courtside as a result.
