pretty sure KU is simply trying to arrive at a settlement with him . they might not have official “cause” unless he pulled that crap there or he lied about anything about his LSU days , if they even asked him about it .

my guess is he’s gone within 2-3 days

Les Miles' days in Kansas may be numbered.
Ironic, because rumor has it that in 1995, Les Miles (then an Assistant Coach at Michigan) was having an affair with our beloved Gary Moeller's (Illiinois Head Coach '77-'79, Michigan Head Coach '90-"95) wife, which caused Moeller to go on a drunken rampage which ended up costing him his job as Head Coach of Michigan.

Miles is a cougar hunter, apparently.

KU does not care about integrity as long as you win

The Kansas Athletic Director, Jeff Long, who hired his old buddy from Michigan days, Les Miles, in 2018, is the very same guy who, as Arkansas Athletic Director in 2012, hired BB as Head Coach. Both Jeff Long and BB were fired from Arkansas in November '17. Before BB, Jeff Long had hired Bobby Petrino as Arkansas Head Coach.

I think it may be best for Kansas to just go with an interim HC this year as it's deep into the Spring Offseason workout program and signing day already over.

With the exception of Coach Kane - replacement lists from the press for Miles look alot like ours did - Leopold, Monken, Lewis, Clark @ UAB

I can't imagine coach Kane going to KU. Seems like it would be an impossible situation for him. Would seem especially weird after taking a relative step down to come work for BB. I could see Fritz or Leipold taking it because they're kind of at that stage where pretty soon they'll be considered too old to be a first time P5 HC.

I don't think either of those candidates leave their current positions due to how late in the offseason all teams are.

They would virtually have their backs up against the wall.

Kansas should just ride with Debord and he should hit the transfer market hard and hope to get 3-4 wins in hopes of attracting one of those HC candidates or even get the permanent job as HC.

Woah...that’s late for the carousel.

Edit: I forgot Miles had all this extra curricular stuff that forced Kansas’ hand.

I guess now we can see, year by year, if LL or BB was the real deal at two lower level programs.
