The Illinois Chapter of Uplifting Athletes will hold its annual Lift for Life to support the rare disease community on Friday, June 23rd at 8:00 a.m. The 2017 Lift For Life is a competition between eight teams comprised of members of the Fighting Illini squad. Each team will do as many max bench press repetitions as possible with a goal of 190 total per team.
Fans and supporters can make a pledge for every bench press rep the team knocks out in the allotted six-minute time for the bench press. So choose your favorite player on a team and pledge to support the Illinois Chapter in its quest to tackle rare diseases.
Proceeds from the Illinois Chapter annual Lift For Life support Uplifting Athletes and its commitment to life skills development, patient focused programs and rare disease research.
