I don't post on this side, but I just suffered through watching the whole game about an hour behind. Hulu wouldn't let me skip commercials. And if I tried to fast forward between plays, it would randomly skip back to the previous commercial set which I'd have to watch. With that in mind, I saw the following: A team that wants to be known for its tough nosed running attack, have a 1st and 5 inside the 7, pass three straight times, unsuccessfully. A team with nothing to lose, up 7, late in the 4th quarter, have 4th and 1 in Maryland territory, not go for it. Only to have their quarterback absolutely shred us, finding open receiver after open receiver. With less than two minutes left, we get a first down, sack our own quarterback, panic call a timeout, get sacked again, then throw the ball to an offensive lineman which pushes us back even further. Now we are punting from the back of our end zone. The first play from our 45ish (did you guess a deep slant? So did everyone else) goes for a huge gain, game over. We absolutely cannot get a receiver open. Whether it's scheme or skill or both, I don't know. Peters wasn't good but there were several balls that if the receiver had any space would have been an easy catch.
