You said what I'm thinking a lot better than me. I know Coach B believes in his D and thought he was playing the odds but I'm with you. You play to win. You believe in your QB. You hit 'em where they ain't. They sell out the run so you hit a quick 7 yard pass. One first down, you bleed their timeouts and you win the game. Zero first downs, our punter gives them the ball mid field and then they need like two first down for a chip shot and the game. I saw that all coming when we had the ball 1st and ten because we've all seen teams, college and pro, throw games away like that. I didn't expect a win, but to play so well and just toss the win away like that was frustrating as hell. It's like we did the only thing possible to get our hopes up and then dash them on the rocks. Hilarious/sick joke. And then I do some deep breathing, think about our UCLA win in Vegas and have a little chuckle. Let's just mercilessly KRUSH Northwestern's kitty kats and it will all be fine (and let's learn from this and not repeat it again next year).
