The symbolic heart of Illini Nation, Champaign, is breaking once again. Michigan goes on to live another day. The Illini will soon scatter to the four-winds and spend yet another off-season in mediocre basketball purgatory. But Illini Nation, do not despair. It’s like pulling out a bad tooth. It hurts like hell, but it has to go. The Illini have decay that has to go. Let us hope that Doctor Whitman performs the necessary surgery on this decay and returns the Illini program to real health. Guys in Orange, this is not to dump on you. You are what you are. You don’t have to apologize for that. If that is all you got, then that is all you got. You are what you are. Thanks for your effort. Seniors, go out there and have a great life. Give your next endeavors your best.
