Couldn’t suffer through all 16 pages of responses before I vented, so I apologize if this was already covered. I was screaming at the TV to get Goode and/or Harmon out of the game and get Rodgers in throughout the entire meltdown. I could not believe my eyes when there was a dead ball and those guys were still on the floor. The only rational explanation I could come up with was that Rodgers was hurt. As I gleaned from the first 7 pages of this thread, it appears nearly everyone else here came to the same conclusion I did. A few weeks ago I saw something where, and I’m paraphrasing, Brad admitted that he spends too much time coaching the guys on the floor and doesn’t think enough about rotations. When I first came across that, I nodded and thought, “Ok, we’ve identified a problem, which is the first step in solving it.” Fast forward to the last couple of games, and it seems this issue has become a bit of a nightmare we can’t wake up from. I don’t mean to be overly dramatic, but if the vast majority of fans watching see it and the guy in charge of the team doesn’t, it’s a problem. To me, it was a borderline dereliction of duty to leave Luke and Justin out there all that time. Not just on Brad, but on the rest of the staff. Decorum be damned, if I were Tyler, Tim, Geoff, or Chester, I’d have had a hell of a time keeping myself from shoving Ty towards the scorer’s table and physically removing Goode or Harmon from the floor. It was THAT obvious.
