Can anyone let me know which side of Enterprise Arena Illinois will be on before I purchase tickets? Just want to confirm. Any season ticket holders can tell me which section you’re in?

The order form I filled out listed the following as the Illinois Fan Seating Block: 104, 105, 114, 115, 106-113, and 304-320.

I've sat front row last 3 years they had it, next to Lovie and JW 1 year, but not gonna be able to go this year. Perhaps they'll finally win it without me there!

Mizzou's bowl game starts one hour before tip-off. The Illini section is on the right side of the arena. The lower bowl is always sold out, but it looks like we've got decisive lead in tickets sold in the upper section.

I was trying to buy through the U of I site, but it was having issues … any suggestions on where to get them instead? Definitely don’t wanna be on the Mizzou side, haha.

EDIT: Nevermind, probably should have tried the venue website! Lol. Looks like we might outnumber them 3:2 based on tickets left…

In another year, it might be fun for committed early purchasers to steal portions of the midcourt sections from Mizzou. If enough did it, those would become ours too.

Mizzou home game basketball attendance has been abysmal. Watch the highlights (attached below) from their home game against Eastern Illinois last night (Tues. 12/7). Most of the 1st and 2nd rows behind the Mizzou bench are empty and it only gets more sparse from there. Want to sit in the first row at the court end? No problem. I've got to think Cuonzo Martin is on a hot seat with the way the Mizzou team is looking and with home game ticket sales like this. With Mizzou's football bowl game being on at the same time as the Braggin Rights game, I'll be surprised if you can't shoot a cannon through the Mizzou section at Braggin Rights and not hit anyone.

If you want to see something interesting, go back 5 years to the coach search thread and you will be amazed how many of this fan base lusted for CM. In fact, one of our most respected insiders said we would rue the day we didn't hire CM. Two things to keep in mind:

CM built his reputation, such as it is, with his sweet 16 run at Tennessee. To get there I believe that it was Mercer who had to upset Duke. If your career is based on Mercer beating Duke, you ain't got a career.

Laphonso Ellis' made a huge mistake by hiring Brad Underwood instead of CM comment still sticks in my craw. Still irritates me.

Oh, I know. I completely understand. CM is a quick hitter who can bring some splashy names in right away but the shine goes away pretty quickly when they realize he can't coach and then the big name recruits stop coming and then he has no skill on the court or at the front of the bench.

Underwood's approach walks a much finer line of building the culture and some missteps along the way or giving into the desire to sacrifice the culture for quick success can lead to bigger risks that will fully derail his tenure here.

Luckily we got Ayo, Miller, Kofi, and Curbelo, and it's showing we can take guys and develop them and also, it allowed some grace from our fans for a couple of lean years. We also have an AD who is patient and loves this university probably more than anyone else in the stadium on a given night.

I'm taking this season game by game after my initial expectation was to wake up in March and see what our seed was.
