Kings have been insanely impressive this series. I think they take it (but hope I'm wrong, as I like GS outside of Dray)
GSW already won their one road game in this series. Dont see them winning another after their abysmal performance on the road all year long. So I got Sac-Town as well.

this Knicks/Heat game is bringing back some great memories from the 90’s. Great atmosphere. I didn’t realize how much I missed a serious contender playing at MSG even though I thoroughly don’t like the knicks.
I hope Jimmy Butler is ok, just rolled his ankle. Would hate to see this series spoiled.

The Beard is putting in a show tonight. Do they try Embiid at all in this series.
Also, the Knicks put themselves in a trick bag. Lost home court, game two is tomorrow and then don’t play until Saturday. I imagine jimmy will be resting until Saturday.

It has to be about time people start talking about Erik Spoelstra as one of the best to do. This dude wins.

Am I the only one who enjoyed the fact that the self-proclaimed GOAT (not the real one) missed a layup and had the ball stolen from him in the final minute of last night's loss?
Lebron James, by any objective measure, is a top 5 player of all time. I've got no problem with him calling himself the GOAT. Every great player has a great ego to match. He is certainly the standard bearer for his generation. What he is doing at 38 years old is nothing short of incredible. If you don't like him as a person, that's your prerogative, but what he has done on the court can't be dismissed.

You are as welcome to your opinion as I am to mine. Just because you disagree with me, doesn't make you right and me wrong!

I never said Lebron is not a top player of all time! I made note that he claimed he is the GOAT. Many others have had huge egos (Kobe, Michael, Wilt, etc.), most of them probably felt the same, but I don't recall any of them self-proclaim to be the GOAT. I have seen many who have played the game (some who played vs both) claim a different player as the GOAT!

Agree on Japan not helping Kofi with the NBA. Based on the highlights I’ve seen he’s simply backing down physically inferior players similar to what he did here. No one in the NBA is going to pay him to do that. His blueprint should be Mitchell Robinson, Andre Drummond, and a couple of other guys. Set the hardest screens and rebound everything. If he was elite at those 2 things he would get more serious looks in the NBA. Although I kinda doubt if he will ever stick, just look at what Boston did to Embid yesterday and what the Lakers are likely to do to Jokic this round. Just really hard for guys that size to guard NBA caliber athletes on the perimeter. And those 2 have MVP level offensive skill sets. Much short of that, it’s really hard to keep bigs like Kofi on the floor.
Refresh my memory What was it the Lakers were going to do to Jokic? 😁 no one can stop the joker

Denver's defense is surprisingly good. Never thought they were a good defense team but I guess their defense was good enough for their offense. Jokic is a good position defender and Lakers didn't really have a quick/good outsider shooter nor a sharp 3pt shooter big to challenge Jokic though. I think the Heat can give Jokic a little bit more problems in that department but I still think the Nuggets is a better team.

Jokic is going to get his points against the Heat. That's part of the reason he's -125 in Vegas to average a triple double in the series. The series is gonna be more about Miami trying to stop the other players on Denver.

Lots of talk right now that Bulls are preparing for life without Lonzo. Team hasn't asked for salary cap relief as it sounds like that could lead to some issues with the union. It's sounding like the experimental knee surgery he is going to have is going to be more for quality of life in his post-basketball career.

Does anyone stop the Joker...?

Howard... I don't think you have to stop Joker scoring though cuz he doesn't score in 40s or 50s that often. But you want to reduce his assists and hopefully increase his errors that his teammates don't go off too bad.

He's content with around 30-13-11....
