I think this is that game that decides the rest of the season for both teams. Win this one and we likely win 9 plus games. Lose it and maybe as bad as only one more win. Same thing for Minnesota. Difference between same old same old and a big year.

Memorial Stadium Sellout Watch update for Minnesota:
Daily ticket sales are impressively strong down the stretch. There have been approximately 500 tickets sold in the last 24 hours. As I noted yesterday, I feel even more confident in 56,000 and think 57,000+ is in play Saturday.

I agree with you but it seems that the staff doesn't understand that molesting the opposing quarterback is part of the game.

I think we need to pressure the QB more. They lean on the passing game more and we can’t let the QB sit back there unmolested. Timely blitzes are in order.
Agree. Especially with our DBs not at 100% it would help if we could get pressure on the QB to take some of the pressure off them.

We really need Bryant. He is and Zak are our go to receivers. Colin has been stepping up. Josh is very good for his size.

I don’t understand this emphasis on the fact Bielema is undefeated against Minnesota. Two different teams this year and the past will have zero impact Saturday.
I would not say zero impact, I would say somewhat

A lot of the same coachse are on the sidelines, and that has influence on the players and the game

I had the pleasure of watching Max Brosmer play at the University of New Hampshire starting with his freshman year. He's got a good, not great arm, and has pretty good ball security. During his career at UNH, he threw for 68 TD's and had 25 INT's. He's thrown 5 picks this year. He's a little slow afoot, and not a really big threat to run. He is a little plodding going through his progressions, and tends to be sacked more than average. He's better than the last few QB's Minny has had, but you can get to him.

What I don't understand is how we can have a 60% probability to win, yet be a 3 point dog going into this game.... ? ? ? WTF
When the line first opened, I saw some models giving Illini 53% chance to win, and they have trended down with the line (roughly around 45% chance to win). This pretty much means a coin flip in my mind. If Illini play with the focus they had against Michigan, I feel good about Illini covering and winning outright.

in these last 4 games , the only team who can beat the Illini , is the Illini .
