I’m so sorry for your loss. Have made the trip to Bandon multiple times and Juggy and Sven are always our caddies. Since hearing the news I’ve struggled with the loss, and I’m honestly devastated by his passing. As we’ve discussed amongst our group, it’s hard to think about Bandon without our caddies. In the wake of his passing, it’s been remarkable to reflect on the friendship one establishes with a guy who lives thousands of miles away, and whom I’ve only spent about 10 days with in my lifetime. I think that speaks to Juggy and the type of caddie/ person he was. He was the perfect balance between the fun free spirited golf lover and the consummate professional. He treated others with respect, and I loved seeing him holding starters/ rangers to that same standard. He seemed like a guy that was always looking to get better whether it was his golf game, overall wellness (particularly his flexibility). It’s funny to think back about the dozen of hours we spent with him on property. I don’t recall a lot of shots but the memories flood back of laughing with Juggy or heeding his advice with the golf swing “TRW…tempo, rhythm and watch that ball”. For all of us no matter our profession, it quickly becomes a job that hopefully is supported by our passions and sustains us. Juggy was the example of a guy who if the job is done right, you will leave an impact on others as he’s certainly done for us. I felt compelled to write this to share our memories, and also to maybe pass along a golfers / friend’s perspective of Juggy’s legacy. Please share as you see fit along with our condolences to all those impacted. Sincerely, Matt
