I can't wait! The Illini is a little like the Cubs. You got to have hope to start the fight! The team has many skilled players who will make plays and keep us in some games. We were only out of 2 games last season at PS and NC with a injury riddled offense. With Dudek and Hardee healthy the running game will be wide open for a more diverse offense. We need to step up on special teams on all on fronts: field goals, punting, coverage and returns. We were inept in all phases that probably cost us at least one game. Young players will get stronger and faster and fill the vacancies left behind. Lets go to a bowl! Think positive, pass it on!

I wish I was this positive about... Anything really.

No mention of any sort of alumni flag football game or whatever Cubit was mentioning earlier this winter - I thought that was actually an interesting idea. Heck it might be more entertaining than the actual spring game!
