Super Bowl 50

Is anyone even excited about this game? I'm not. I'll have it on so I can keep abreast of the score and whatnot. But wont be setting up my usual spread of food and drinks and watching every second of the game. Neither team has any appeal to me. If Carolina had stayed undefeated to this point it might have drawn me in. I can think of plenty of reasons I'd like for each team to lose, but none for them to win. I do like Ron Rivera though from being a Bears and Chargers fan, so I guess I'll root for Carolina?

Most of my exposure in it has been everyone making sure not to get caught in the traffic. From what I heard, Super Bowl City in downtown San Fran was kind of a bust this week. Of course, I'm happy since this is the first time in 3 years I'll get to watch a game uninterrupted, which probably means it'll be a blowout or a snoozer...

On the cool side, I know a few people that have seen various Broncos players or team vehicles this week, since they've been practicing at Stanford. From what I heard, they tore out and replaced all of the grass on our practice fields (and SJSU's, where Carolina's practicing) to match the grass at Levi's Stadium.

Is it me or are the commercials pretty lame so far? Most are just downright bad! I may have missed a couple good ones at the start of the game while watching Fowler give away the WM Open.

Yawner of a Super Bowl. Happy for Peyton. Cam will be back.

Hopefully there's some movement to make the change from Sunday to Saturday. Quick turnaround for work on the east coast! :)

I liked a few of them, and generally liked that it went back towards simple and funny rather than the long-winded appeals to emotion we've seen the last couple years (mostly by car companies). Jeep had one of those this year but that was about it.

I also had a couple of friends in the 49ers choir during the Super Bowl Babies commercial, so that was fun to see!

Von Miller is a Lawrence Taylor level linebacker. Absolutely Unstoppable.

Would give up just about anything for the Bears to snag him but it won't happen.

While I'm sure I missed some, this is the only one to get a good laugh out of me.
