Yes first thing i noticed on his morning tweet was #ILL
There is a difference between ‘I heard this could happen.....’ and ‘this happened/will happen’. It’s attention getting statements.
I try to keep a positive mentality/ post positive because of so much negative out on the inter webs.
When you hear for months about how high targeted recruits will sign, that gets attention, but when recruits don’t sign it becomes negative cloud on staff.
Many others are able to post ‘what they are hearing’, ILL back in the race, possibly SC connection, etc. Not using definitive statements.
Should we get into CIA level sourcing statements for our insiders?

I think that what Bellamy said is exactly where IL hs coaches need to be! I, personally, could care less if they come to U of I but, if these coaches are going to whine all of the time, they need to make sure that their best kids do visit. We now have facilities to show off and, I understand they had no opportunity to visit this past year but, soon they won't have that excuse to fall back on.
It's obvious that people just post what they hear. It's your own problem if you take all of that as a fact.

I don’t know, maybe I'm a stickler for clear communication, but if you were just passing along a rumor and weren't confident in its veracity, wouldn't you at least preface it with "I heard a rumor that.. "? Then when it doesn't pan out say "guess what I heard was wrong, whoops" instead of retroactively qualifying your earlier statement to make it appear you had more info than you shared?
I believe in my admittedly brief time here I've only been critical of one "insider." A lot are posting the info they're hearing, to the best of their ability. That's fine. I think though, if you post complete conjecture under the guise of information, you open yourself up to criticism, especially when literally nothing you post pans out.
Soooo those 3 names football scoop talked about, is it beween them and nobody else? Am I wrong in thinking Knowles is trying to capitalize on a good year defensively for ok st? He’s no youngin and making 800k so might be trying to cash in while he can no? I like him most of the 3, but he’s not in a bad spot at ok st, outside ok st not paying assistants, 800k is most they’ve ever paid for an assistant(there oc makes same amount).
