Training Camp will take place on Campus Rec Fields July 31-Aug. 26 and is open to the public
The Fighting Illini football team will open its 2017 preseason training camp on July 31. All of training camp, which runs until Aug. 26, will take place on the University of Illinois campus, be open to the public, and free to attend.
Fans are encouraged to come watch coach Lovie Smith and the Illini as they prepare for the 2017 season and stay for post-practice autographs with the team. The first practice will begin at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, July 31.
