Transfers Thread

One of the long rumored transfers I was told about a month or so ago is now official.

I agree with this wholeheartedly which is why I sat on it but it’s official now. There’s nothing to protect the kid from.
Im not trying to be a jerk or anything but everything I heard about him was negative. Never seemed engaged or in shape and he frustrated the staff.

Ugh. I was hoping Myers would fill in at guard next year since he had a few years in the program. No wonder the insiders have been stressing about OL depth...

I’ve heard a couple RS juniors this year will be gone as well and a RB.

Shogbonyo, Gavin and Palmer all participated in Senior day. The only RS Juniors who didn't participate are Hansen, Cerny, McCourt and Kramer. I would be very disappointed if any of those four left because we really need all of them next year.

Dominic Stampley is another RS Junior.

In news I missed, Peyton Powell ended up flipping to Rutgers and has signed. That's a huge one. That team won't be a 30 point doormat for long.

I was hoping Myers would 'GYMR' and really step up to the opportunity he had here. Better luck elsewhere, I guess.

Is Verdis Brown the kid from IMG still on the team. I know him and Pettibon were fighting for the same position in the fall.
I have not heard of Verdis leaving so, I believe he still on the team. He sat out his first year to concentrate on education. Need him next year and the future.

I would be shocked if Verdis transferred out.
The top three strongest kids on the team are Green, Kramer and Verdis. When Verdis gets his technique down, I believe he will be a very solid player for us

I wasn't thinking he was transferring out. I should have asked if he played much this as I never heard his name called. But then again he is a offensive lineman and most of them onlyget their names called when it is a penalty

Verdis saw some time late in the year and possibly against Rutgers. Believe he is slated to fill Pettibone spot. No reason to transfer even if he doesn't start next year. He will be a RS- Soph and injuries happen, he is part of next year's plan. Unless coaches tell him otherwise.

He did play at the end of the Rutgers game. I was a little disappointed to be honest. But considering the transition from DT and his youth, I still think he is going to be a solid player for us at the least

Can Brandon Peters convince his former teammate Tarik Black to join the O&B? Would be awesome to have an elite option opposite Bhebhe. Of course for as long as he can stay healthy, which isn’t long.
