Ok, just saw this thread and thought I'd chime in. Lots of great shows out there --something for everyone. Fun to add my thoughts and be an armchair critic.... Russian Doll was a fun and unusual. Also recommend Maniac was an awesomely weird, edgy, dark comedy that pays homage to the 80s. One of my recent favorites. Chernobyl was incredible. Best drama I've seen in ages. Immeasurable tragedy told in a humanizing way. Hard to watch, but I'd recommend it. Dark Crystal: Age of Renaissance. Wow, I would never have thought they would do such a good job with this story. Visuals are amazing, and a nice tribute to Jim Henson's original. If you like these kinds of young/adult stories, give it a look. Last Week Tonight - If liberal political humor is your thing. He's a bit heavy-handed at times if you have more diverse political views. Carnival Row - Partially through, jury still out. Visually interesting world and characters, but not quite sold on it yet. Stranger Things Season 3 - More of the same, and tries to be cutesy more than previous seasons. I'm in the minority, but it's run its course and then some, IMHO. Peaky Blinders - Have enjoyed its historical fiction quite a bit. (Through season 2). Mindhunter is on my list.
