I missed you guys too. It can't go on like this. Another decade like this in the revenue sports and things are going to be profoundly and irrevocably different. Jawun Evans is a pretty big exception. Having a stone-cold stud point guard cures a lot of ills. We don't have a guy like that, but the OSU's overall roster wasn't wildly better, with a similar lack of interior size and depth. We are an even 100 in KenPom right now. Too early to be absolute gospel, but that certainly reflects what we've seen. Groce's 5 years were: 39, 53, 61, 125, 66. Weber's last year was 76, the 2008 disaster was 51. We were mildly worse than bubble level under Groce, we're well below even that now. I'll be very surprised if we end up down at 125 like that 2016 mess, but we're closer to that than the bubble right now. Yup. Or even a bit better than that. The difference between a 9-10 seed and a 6-7 is just a couple game hot streak here or there. I would, by the way, agree that we don't have B1G title contender, 1-2 seed level talent, at least not without gelling into a super cohesive, experienced, super well coached unit. That's not a year 1 possibility. It is not jumping off the BU train in any way shape or form to acknowledge what we're seeing. The guy has a terrific track record, and we're seeing his style of ball being implemented and he seems to suffer no delusions himself about the problems he's witnessing. We're 2-3 games behind where we would have reasonably expected. That's a disappointment, it's worrying, but there's no use crying over spilled milk. This is BU's program now for the forseeable future. Go get better.
