[QUOTE="TheChief4Life, post: 1657656, member: 747708"] Both great points. In fact, in the Nebraska game, the play in which Peters got injured and the play right before it (both sacks) were due to Peters taking WAY to long to make a read/decision. On a side note, I’m with the people that think last nights game isn’t as bad as just saying “we lost to a C-USA team”. UTSA was predicted to be something special this year. Now we have to hope they are to soften this blow. I think the sting comes from the fact we really could have won last night. We were there until the end, and this was after we blew some real chances at gaining momentum throughout the game. It’d be much more fun to say we beat the “special team from C-USA”. I said it in a post last night that I left Memorial Stadium after last night’s loss in a completely different mood than I have after any of Lovie’s losses. There’s still a different feel about this team and this program. I like it. I like what I feel about the direction. I just hope I’m not disappointed about my early optimism in a couple years.
