Alabama actually sitting in a decent spot. Odds are someone above them loses, so they gain without playing.

Lose in the championship game and they would likely miss out on the playoffs imo.

I actually think Bama is almost certainly not going to make it in. The winner of the B1G, SEC and ACC championship will be in it. Only chance Bama has of making it is if Oklahoma loses. I dont see TCU jumping up that far.

B1G winner is only guaranteed if it's Wisconsin.

If Ohio State wins and it's chalk everywhere else, it's the great debate between 11-1 Alabama (with no conference title), and 2-loss Ohio State (with a conference title).

Remember, the 1-loss non-champion won that contest last year over the 2-loss conference champ, when Ohio State got in over Penn State. We'll see if the same repeats.

Either way, both Alabama and Ohio State should root HARD for TCU.

If Georgia wins I don't think you can take Alabama over auburn and you can't take auburn over Georgia so I don't think you can take Alabama over Georgia. I think that is actually how Ohio State can get in. If sec champ is auburn, then I think Alabama goes if osu beats wisconsin.

Only reason I'd take a two loss OSU over a one loss Bama is because Bama has literally beaten zero good teams. Of course, you could argue Bama and OSU have equivalent losses to teams like Oklahoma and Auburn, then OSU has a bad loss to Iowa.

Really, its a crap shoot, but I think a win over Wisconsin is enough to offset the loss to Iowa.

If you are n the committee, is Georgia back in the playoffs?

Dismantling Auburn, they have my vote.
