NIU is having giving a defensive clinic to Nebraska. Two pick-6's in the first qtr....ouch. Tanner lee has thrown 6 int. in the last 2 games.

Does Purdue really have much more talent than Illinois? That's why I think the praise for Lovie needs to be toned down a little.
Without looking, I would bet their offensive and defensive lines are both older and more experienced than ours. It makes a huge difference. Our guys were simply getting pushed around last night. That will change as they mature and build more strength. When you go as young as we are it will take time for them to be physically equal to the upperclassmen they are playing against.

That and they probably have a serviceable quarterback.

Watchng Texas/USC last night... was really impressed with the way their qbs were able to throw the ball downfield for big chunks of yardage. Sometimes under pressure. Now the pressure was usually after they already had some time to look over the field. And that time to let receivers work downfield was invaluable but, the way the way they were able to indentify open receivers and get the ball to them is something I hope to see from us in the near future.

FLORIDA- TENN game was a war.

9 seconds to play tied Florida with the Ball at their 37 yard line and they throw a perfect strike 67 yards to a waiting receiver to win the game. What a great SEC matchup
