Like I needed a reason to root against the Golden Gomers

But Frost likely won’t be the only coach fired during the season in this day and age of big pressure and big bucks in college football. So who else’s seat is warm?

1. Karl Dorrell, Colorado: Three years might not be enough to evaluate most coaches, but Dorrell — who went 35-27 at UCLA from 2003-07 — has shown little progress, going 8-12 overall and 4-10 during the last two seasons. The Buffaloes have been trounced in back-to-back games to open the season, losing 37-13 at home to TCU before falling 41-10 at Air Force. A trip to Minnesota looms this weekend. Illinois defensive coordinator Ryan Walters would seem a great candidate for the job at his alma mater if it does open up.

WKU’s blob mascot , if it makes the trip , is enough to scare most people . Tom Allen might be yelling even more then he did against us when he lays eyes on it

I was going to post this in week 2 thread, but that is closed. Did anyone see the ending to the Oregon State—Fresno State game? If you’re not a fan of the late, right before ball hiked, timeout call before a kick like I am, it was a joy to watch.

With about 3 seconds left, down by 3, and ball on 2 or 3 yard line at Fresno. Beavers elected to for tie. I know, not a good call. Field goal is good, but wait, Fresno called timeout. Jonathan Smith then changes his mind and goes for it with Jack “Hammer” Colletto taking it in. Even if I didn’t root for Oregon State, it would have been enjoyable to watch. That just made it funnier and better.

Top games today include BYU-Oregon, Penn State-Auburn, Texas Tech-NC State, and Miami (FL)-Texas A&M.

Among the state schools, there's EIU at ISU in the 110th Mid-America Classic, SIU at Northwestern, Southern Utah at WIU, and Vanderbilt at NIU.

Had to turn off OU-NU. Unwatchable, and I don’t hate Nebby enough to take joy in that beat-down. Watching Purdue and Syracuse. I’ll say this, Purdue isn’t afraid to sling the ball downfield.

I think Wisconsin will still be a very tall task. Minnesota is a toss up.

Iowa is not great on O but their D is great.
