Boy, I sure would've hated to have hired Mike Leach. Guy just wins and wins at places that are tough to win at.

Tennessee
East Carolina (1 - 3) is one touchdown behind South Florida at halftime. 31 - 24.

We would probably still have Thomas if that had happened.

I like the promise that Josh Whitman has shown, and all, but I'd be just fine with still having Mike Thomas if it meant being ranked #16 this weekend and climbing after beating #5 at home.

Football wise yes. Basketball wise no BU and most likely not somebody >= to him.

Final in Nashville in 2OT: EIU 19 Tennessee State 16

This game had a little bit of a crazy finish in the 2nd OT. Panthers win on short TD run by QB Scotty Gilkey Jr.

With EIU's game the next 2 weeks at home against a winless Tennessee Tech and at a 1 win Murray State, the Panthers could go on a little bit of a run before they host highly ranked Jacksonville State on homecoming weekend in Charleston.

Also, if you're looking for a stadium intro for a football team, Virginia Tech shows you how it's done. I was ready to run through a wall after watching that before their game tonight, and I was just watching on TV.

It's no War Chant, but it's pretty awesome. :p
