Looking forward to that Nebraska/IU game. Can't say that was on my bingo card as an interesting game when the season began.
i’ll be a believer in IU if they can beat Nebby or even play them well and lose by 3 or 4 .

Kansas might just be unlucky. 4 of 5 losses by one score, and the Arizona state loss doesn’t look bad at all. I think they’re due, and if I was them I’d have Iowa state circled. I’ll bet ku knocks off the cyclones in a few weeks.

I think they’re still a good win for the illini, and think ku is much better than their record would indicate.

If they lose bad to Houston, scratch that

Could be but for me I would have @KSU... ISU thus far has looked real good...

While I agree, the cyclones are floating at a different level right now. Brecht is just playing like a dude. Their defensive coordinator has also been calling a great scheme thus far. KU would have a better shot against Kstate. 3 ranked teams in a 3 week stretch (KSU, ISU, BYU) followed by Colo; they’ll have chances for sure.

Not sure where to put this but just looked up and Kansas is now 1-5. Woof.

Looking more and more like Liepold built a “team” a la Turner, Zook, etc but we might actually be building a program with BB.

But I’m shocked KU is doing so poorly this year.

Stanford/ND, a far distant 3rd in the 3:30 pm slot @ 1.87M, Ouch. If those numbers continue, you'd have to think NBC won't be so generous with the next contract in 2030.

The Big Ten is losing the TV war. These East vs West games are flops whereas the SEC has more depth than they used to. It was a very frequent thing back in the day where the premier SEC game was the highest rated of the week but then the Big Ten had like the next 3. Not so anymore.

The ABC tripleheader is also seeming to be pretty successful as opposed to Big Ten games ping ponging among networks.

Nobody is going to be as generous in 2030, but ND still drives quite strong ratings. ND vs A&M won Week 1.

They aren’t that bad. KFord still has them slightly better than us (they’re 52, we’re 54).

The difference is, they’re 0-4 in one score games, we’re 3-0.

On the bright side, less than 0.5 million people watched the Illini game on Saturday. Dodged a bullet there.
