Agree. The only clunker is IU/Maryland. At the beginning of the season I would have thought that scUM would rout Rutgers, but this could be a very intriguing game.

Final score in Martin, TN: UT-Martin 27 EIU 10

5 EIU turnovers (including 4 INTs by EIU QBs) lead to 17 Skyhawks points which ends up being the difference in this game. After the great effort they showed against Jacksonville State, the Panthers laid an absolute egg in this one.

Panthers drop to 5-4 overall and 4-2 in the OVC. EIU hosts Eastern Kentucky next Saturday at 1PM on Senior Day for the Panther football players.

I was only half-watching, but probably Gus Johnson. He could disappear from TV and I would be fine with it. His shtick is to be way over the top.

Maybe professional wrestling?

Should we be hoping for an Iowa St type progression? 3-9 last season to knocking off highly ranked Oklahoma and TCU this year. Not sure the makeup of their team is at all similar to ours but, seems like there is hope to bounce back from a down year to a good one.

Probably not. Five of their nine losses last year were by 10 points or less.

Their last season might be closer to our next season, though I think we can and will win more than 3 games. In 2019 we take the big leap.
