Who plays the most? Who has the lowest of expectations from the three incoming wings? Now that the backcourt is effectively set (maybe still waiting on word from Damonte) it should be a little easier to make our predictions (and laugh at our choices later).

still expect us to add one more guard regardless of monte's decision

This will be interesting! RJ is clearly the most athletic and that gives him an edge. Goode might be the best outside shooter and that is his edge. Podz. is a combo
of the two with some ball handling skills, and those skills give Podz an edge. This is a nice situation for BU to select the freshman that helps the situation
that best matches their skill set, and our needs at the moment. Basically, it is a moot point, they are all freshman and will do good things and stupid things.
It is for BU to decide who is the most helpful at the moment. If I actually had to vote, I think that RJ's athletic ability's will translate into the defense that BU
will expect. I am just going to enjoy watching all three play, since they all have some serious talent.

Ok, so IMO.

From listening to BU, I think they view Podz as more of a 2/1. He made a few mentions of his IQ and his ability to handle the ball and make good decisions.

Melendez is more a 2/3. He is 6'7" and may even be able to play a few minutes at the 4. He played against the best competition, is probably the best athlete of the 3 and has the highest ceiling. I also think he will be able to defend the best as well.

Goode to me, from watching tape and looking at his game is, for me, strictly a 3 point shooter. I don't see much dribble drive in his game so for him to make an impact he is going to need to hit shots right away.

It probably will come down to who plays the best defense and ALSO the status of Hutcherson, who probably can be better then all 3 if he is healthy.

I rate them as:
1. RJ
2. Podz
3. Goode

However,

I'm a Podz fan. There is stuff he does offensively that the other 2 cannot do. He can step back on a 3, he can shoot a fadeaway, I've seen him hit a 1 legged Dirk style fadeaway off the block, he can euro step, his release is legit quick, left handed, great range, solid athlete and I think he plays with a bit of swag. Now this is all against inferior competition, I get it, but if he isnt fazed by the big stage and can be that good of a scorer, he is the one to watch out for.

The thing I like about Podz is he averaged 10 rebounds a game. Tells me he was playing hard and wasn’t just chucking it. Granted, not the best competition, but I remember Eddy Curry didn’t average 10 rebounds a game in high school. Should have been a red flag right there.

We seem to find guards who have a knack for rebounding. Podz seems to fit that mold.

Does a transfer 4 look like a pipe dream at this point? I know Mitchel is out there, but it doesn’t seem promising. Hawkins will get there, but I’m not sure he’ll be ready for starter minutes next year.

Good breakdown. This is partially my thought process for Goode. He's really really good at one thing (shooting) and might not have to master a number of skills in order to play. He might have minutes against teams running a zone or provide greater room when Kofi (if he comes back) or traditional big is in.

Then again Melendez might come in and provide the most flexibility on defense and that's all that will matter.

Eddy curry had a solid NBA career?

I think it will be whichever one is most ready defensively which I feel like will be Goode. He looks both physically ready and plays good comp. He also seems ready to stop into an offensive role as a floor spacer to knock down shots like what Miller did this year.

I got Podz. I don't think anyone will outwork Podz. If he gets to the 190-195lbs. he mentions in his signing day video.

He's got some of that "it" that I saw in Curbelo's HS videos last year. Attitude.

And you can't spell attitude without it.

I hope they all play a lot, will be fun to watch all three.

It’s cool how all of them can camp out on the arc during a fast break.

Also think BU gets guys who can work within different changes of pace—there are times when you can take advantage of an uptempo game with someone like Melendez, there are others where you might be playing a slow paced team with a rigid zone and you need Goode to break it with 3 pointers.

I’m glad we got Podz on our team. Seeing him suit up against us twice every conference season would be a headache. Would much rather have him on our team than some other B1G opponent.

I'm so tired I totally forgot to finish a sentence. Sigh. Now I can't remember what I was thinking.

i went with Podz.

I think people are going to be surprised by how good of a shooter Melendez is as well. His athleticism may put him over the top. I really really like this class.
