Wow. Jackson is just killing it. I would love to see us get him or Ennis.

I think there is a real good chance we could end up with one of them.

I don't think we will get either. I think Brown, Davis or Clark will be our PG commitment in 2013.

If that's the case they should have kept James.

I like Davis Jackson or Ennis and really think we have a shot at one possibly two of them. Davis just has to prove himself this summer and I think he will be offered

James play has continued to plummet while Davis and Brown continue to rise! They both are strong ball handlers and Davis is really learning the PG position. James may play at a decent college but he is not the player everyone thought he would be.

Unlike the Parker case, where I had no hopes of JP @ UoI, until these two say they are going some place else I think we have a decent chance. Groce has a lot to sell them on and he has dealt with such situations. Being new to this school will matter, but the chances, IMHO, are good.

Would be happy with the others too.

They're going to get the Harrison twins (ranked numbers 3 and 4 by Rivals) and at least two other guys in the top 15 in the class of 2013. The rich get richer. In fact, just to illustrate how Kentucky has become THE destination, James Young - who is from the State of Michigan and has EVERYONE around him trying to push him to Sparty - has indicated that his favorite right now is Kentucky. It's just the way top-ranked recruits see the world of college basketball these days.
UK has become a Free Pass to first round NBA selection. Don't see him not making the blue his choice. We'll know soon enough.

Why pass on a chance to get paid like a Pro before you get drafted?....

Why hang on to a falling PG who doesn't fit Groce's system? That makes absolutely no sense.

The notion that Parker needs UK to boost his NBA prospects is beyond ludacrisp. JP could go to Chicago State and be the top pick. That said, he may become a kitty if he decides UK provides him with the best shot at winning the national title.

It'll be interesting to watch him. I saw him against Finley Prep and against top talent he looked pretty darn human. Nunn looked less than human in that game as I recall.

He looked like he had elite level skill but sub-elite level athleticism. I cannot help but wonder what happens in the NBA where every SF he faces will be ridiculously explosive.

Not making a prediction. Just curious to see how it works out. In full disclosure I didn't think Gordon would be that good in the NBA so take it for the little it's worth.

I didn't see the IHSA Championship, but read that Sterling Brown looked like the best player on the court. Can anyone provide some perspective? Thanks.

Id be fine with Brown or Davis as well. I just think that the interest among top flight guards like Ennis and Jackson has really picked up because they know how PG friendly his system is and that they should get early playing time because of our lack of depth at the position.

Brown had a good game. Doesn't mean that he is better than Parker or Nunn. I once watched a 6-foot non college prospect outscore Andre Iguodala head to head. in fact, Iguodala had one basket. Now he is on the Olympic team.

Hard to make judgments based on one game. Brown is outstanding but one game doesn't make him the best player of the three.

that much I saw the exact same thing which is why I never cared that much about him . IMO he looked OK , Nunn too , but thats just my opinion.

I understand that, I wasn't saying that he was better than any of them. I just recall that I hadn't heard much about Brown at that time and was surprised that he even had the ability to be the best player on the court, even if for only one game.

I didn't think Derrick Rose was that special coming out of high school, so you can take a back seat to me in the worst amateur scout category.

I kind of agree sort of reminds me of Harrison Barnes where I don't doubt he will make it to the league but as he starts to play against players with equal or greater athleticism he seems more human.

Tyler Ennis' CIA/Bounce U17 lost 100-84 to Team USA Midwest in championship game of Nike Global Challenge in D.C. He had 18 pts on 7 of 16 shooting. Wiggins had 24, Lyles 21 & XRM14.

How many assists?

He will do very, very well in Groce's scheme. I would expect better numbers under Groce.
