Refreshing to have a coach who doesn't back down from and isn't intimidated by the media

who cares if we go after PSU's players why should all the big teams be the only ones to get them? I don't have a problem with it at all.

the media is very extremely annoying sometimes.. Ask PSU coaches about PSU....
the only question i agreed with was beckman clearing up what actually happened! (take that ESPN!!!)

Seriously, this is the Big Ten media day and not the PSU media day. Asking 1 question is fine, but to ask 6 or 7 questions about them is insane.

PSU coach Bill O'Brien (wait for it) stayed silent on the Illinois story in his opening statement.

I guess we learned that saying something of substance at The Podium is just a tad different than running to ESPN.

Good to also see O'Brien pleased with his Oline. We need some more recruits!

I call BS on his players not informing him of a transfer. O'Brien is not a good liar.

+1
Looks like O'Brien is REALLY ticked at Beckman because there was no personal courtesy call from Beck to him...Also an indirect slam on Beck saying how much he respects Bielma ...

Shouldn't because WE FOLLOWED THE RULES.

Bill O'Brien may be a bigger prick than Urban Meyer. God I want to beat their ass even more now.

Ethical about what? Since when did coaches call other coaches and tell them that they are interested in a current commit also? The NCAA did this, so you have no rules here. You do what you have to do.

The rules don't require a "courtesy call to the HC." This is made-up nonsense created by a coach who hasn't even been in the college game 7 months.

Going to Penn State to lure their players to Illinois. This is not the same as recruiting high school kids.

I said this on Twitter yesterday and was curious to know if the players had contacted us 1st. Looks like this might be the case and Thomas calls the AD. After that I think you have the green light. This "gentlemen" agreement in the conference is a bunch of BS. Bielema can say all that other BS because he is already at the top of the league and probably doesn't have a need for any PSU players. I can't wait to see what the card says Bielema does when they are up 58 points on PSU.
