No we don't. The creator of that history is long gone. Many of us have buried ourselves in heavily spiked koolaid, and recruiting frenzies to forget whatever you mentioned. If Evan Turner could have the success he did his sr. year, then the team will find a way.

Just saw XRM visit to UCONN on hold. May relate to Uconn visit restrictions and Parker.
Can't link, but could be source of disrespect |

Truly loving your spot on observations. Hilarious and brilliant! Tough break on the recruiting side of things but I'm glad my life and livelihood (or does it, productivity at work has been hampered) doesn't depend on the choice of a teenager. Also noticed that was post 777 for you, Clete. I feel like double rainbow guy...What does it mean? It's got to be a sign... |

Some kids just aren't a good match for your program and we'll leave it at that. You won't see a JR type situation under Groce.

I usually warn against trying to piece things together. But DJ commits to ND and on the same day XRM cancels his visit to UCONN. I know that FSU is still there, but this has to bode well for us. I know someone will think Kendrick's tweet relates to this, but Im not willing to believe that yet.

I'm not gonna pontificate (at this point in the game that's probably dangerous) but you gotta think playing for UI and the Deron link doesn't hurt us. We'll see. Amazing how many fans are finally coming back out of hibernation after the past several years of heartbreak.

Need to have a coach at all of XRM's open gyms (if it isn't a violation) leading up to Oct 13th.

i have always thought it was between us and fsu, just hoping his dad wasnt pushing him there, knowing thats likely the main reason they make his final cut, im hoping we pull this one out and "he takes care of his"

As much as I hate to say it and you guys loathe hearing this (also not a groundbreaking thought) Groce might be finishing 2nd on all of his major recruits (sans Nunn) this year. XRM would be awesome, but FSU has the leg up in that race. Regardless, extremely impressive for Groce. I don't see this becoming a trend and this time next year I think we'll have loaned our cups to a few teams. Hopefully, some extremely gratifying nut punches handed out in the future ie Crean.

If UConn ends up being out of it, I would guess we're behind FSU, naturally. Suppose Groce tries to sell XRM on having the keys to PG and working through mistakes. XRM is listed as a shooting guard. Can he realistically be expected to play point or is that trying to fit a square peg into a round hole.
