His obsession with orange and it makes a ton of sense. STANDOUT when recruiting!

I like it. That is a good marketing idea. So let's take the next step and design some exciting orange uniforms with block I helmets.

That could work, but the uniforms need to be redesigned with enough blue and white trim to keep the team from looking like popsicles.

Doesn't matter the color. It makes us stand out. Something different and unique compared to other B1G teams. In recruiting you have to stand out. There has to be something to make you different. The orange is a small thing but is right up that alley.

It also gives the team something to identify with and rally around.

Syracuse is my main reason for the ILLINI not to wear all orange. They look hideous! Why in the heck is #73 posing like that?? Is someone making a sequel to "The Birdcage" and he is going to tryout for a part?

Simple solution: Go with ONLY ORANGE uniforms in the Clemson style and not similar to the ugly Syracuse uniforms.

I have always liked the Clemson uniform style and color. One of the players I coached played TE for them. He was the one who got tackled that started the on field brawl with South Carolina.

I'm not a lover of the block I tho. There has to be something better to put on the helmets.

Personally, I thought the 60's throwbacks they wore a couple years ago were pretty sweet!

Has Michigan gone back to that modern throwback look that they wore most of the year this year? Thought it was ok but nothing to write home about.

If you do all orange, please make sure the shades of orange match. The ones we wore vs Mizzou a few years back looked awful because of this problem.

That's an interesting thought. By putting orange on orange, you could have all kinds of messages on the shirts/uniforms. Perhaps a gigantic orange Chief logo on the back of the jersey. And each game you could have unique messages specific for that week's opponent, like "Muck Fichigan". The fact that no one could see any of these images is beside the point; fans of "Only Orange" would know they were there.
