Less than stellar B1G Championship game...much like the entire conference has been this year I guess.... Betting FOX wishes they could unload that game in favor of airing a re-run of the 500th Anniversary of the Simpson's...

This year Illinois blew probably the best chance they will ever have to play in a Big Ten Championship. With Ohio State and Penn State ineligible all they would have to have done is beat Wisconsin, Indiana, Purdue and Minnesota.

Congrats to the NIU Huskies. While I'm happy for them with their success, it hurts to know how much better they currently are than the Illini. The following facebook post of a friend, who is an NIU alumni, makes me shake my head and ask "if NIU football can be successful, why can't Illinois?"

Actually, the SEC championship was a terrific game. Too bad Georgia didn't get a few shots into the end zone at the end as it looked like they had Alabama on their heels a bit. I hate to see Alabama win, but they sure dominated on the ground.

It'll be interesting to see how Auburn fans view him after tonight's game as a potential candidate. |
