On media day, #illini Beckman told team it is important to portray positive "image." Senior class came up with team motto "Invest."

Beckman: Won't make announcement now on whether they'll go back to Rantoul in future, but enjoyed hospitality at camp.

Beckman on goal for D: "To be the best. They weren't the best in the Big Ten last year."

Beckman: problem with kicking is "no one is in the lead." No one has jumped out and taken either kicking or punting job yet.
