Wouldn’t be surprised to see this young man in an Illini uniform next year.Any insiders know where we stand with Dante Maddox? Kid is a bucket with some passing ability, 40%+ 3PT shooter with NBA range and a strong build.

BU plays Dain in situations in which he can be successful. Is he match up proof to the degree he should be our new Kofi? I’m not so sure…But the Sincere Parker's and Dante Maddox's of the world are not the kind of impact player DD is.
Storr or Boswell would be (arguably), but not the kinds of guys currently on the market.
I've said it from the moment he burst on the scene last year: build this ship around Dain Dainja. We are in the Sweet Sixteen because BU figured that out just in time.
He probably can't play 30+ minutes a game against all matchups the way Kofi did (though DD and Fletch should try), but getting the most out of him should be the game planning focal point.
People on Twitter are saying he’s headed to Ole Miss for some reason lolme either
Not defensivelyNot sure if we will get Storr or not but people do need to remember he's just a Sophomore - if we think back to how TSJ was a sophomore - there is a lot of ability to grow and Storr is definitely ahead of where TSJ was as a Soph
The rumors have been that he just wants NIL megabucks, and if his focus is that more than where he fits, any suitor could dive in the picture with a huge offer.Assuming the rumors of Illinois being a possible suitor for Storr are true, is there any other school or schools that would be their biggest competition?
I both agree with the spirit of this and how players can change and develop, but I'm also compelled to point out that TSJ was never as inefficient as Storr and always a better defender. Not sure if we will get Storr or not but people do need to remember he's just a Sophomore - if we think back to how TSJ was a sophomore - there is a lot of ability to grow and Storr is definitely ahead of where TSJ was as a Soph

Perhaps if more people understood what the word "almighty" actually means, they would have a better understanding of what is...and what isn't.. real.Seems like the Almighty could have spent less time on this recruitment and more on the harbor.

I gotcha. I assumed he was looking for NIL but didn’t know how much of a factor it’s going to be for him.The rumors have been that he just wants NIL megabucks, and if his focus is that more than where he fits, any suitor could dive in the picture with a huge offer.

TSJ always had a really high floor, injury worries at the time notwithstanding. It's possible Storr is a disaster. But it's also possible he's BTPOY.
One Crystal Ball pick for AJ Storr to Illinois from a Michigan State Insider.
